WHAT ARE COOKIES AND HOW DO THEY WORK? ‍ This website uses cookies and/or similar technologies that store and retrieve information as you browse. In general, these technologies can serve various purposes, such as recognizing you as a user, obtaining information about your browsing habits, or customizing how content is displayed. The specific uses we make of these technologies are described below. A website can set a Cookie in the browser if its preferences allow it. A browser only allows a website to access the Cookies it sets, not those set by other websites. A cookie on your device can only be read again by the website that saved it, for which you gave permission by accepting its Cookies Policy. The CONTROLLER's Sites host content provided by Third Parties (advertisers, agencies, social networks, etc.). If these Third Parties have stored Cookies on the Interested Party's device, they can read the information from such Cookies to personalize the content offered to the Interested Party.

WHY DO WE USE COOKIES

  1. Analysis Cookies: These cookies, processed by us or third parties, allow us to quantify the number of users and perform the measurement and statistical analysis of the users' use of the offered service. This involves analyzing their navigation on our website to improve the offer of products or services we provide.

  2. Behavioral Advertising Cookies: These cookies, processed by us or third parties, allow us to analyze your internet browsing habits so that we can show you advertising related to your browsing profile. We also inform you that, in addition to the aforementioned own and third-party advertising cookies, the CONTROLLER uses technical cookies that allow the operation and provision of the services offered on the CONTROLLER's Sites.

USE OF THIRD-PARTY COOKIES

We use third-party cookies, mainly from Google, to analyze the number of visits and third-party audience.

  1. Analysis Cookies: These cookies allow quantifying the number of users and conducting the measurement and statistical analysis of the use made by users of the offered service. Their navigation on our website is analyzed to improve the offer of products or services we provide.

TYPES OF COOKIES USED ON THIS WEBSITE:

The non-advertising cookies we use are classified as follows:

According to who manages them:

  1. First-party Cookies: These are sent to the user's terminal equipment from a computer or domain managed by the publisher itself and from which the requested service is provided.

  2. Third-party Cookies: These are sent to the user's terminal equipment from a computer or domain that is not managed by the editor but by another entity that processes the data obtained through cookies.

According to the purpose of the cookies:

  1. Technical Cookies: These allow the user to navigate through a website, platform, or application and use the different options or services that exist in it. They include those used by the editor to enable the management and operation of the website and enable its functions and services, such as controlling traffic and data communication, identifying the session, accessing restricted access parts, remembering the elements that make up an order, carrying out the process of purchasing an order, managing payment, controlling fraud linked to the security of the service, making a request for registration or participation in an event, counting visits for billing software licenses with which the service works (website, platform, or application), using security elements during navigation, storing content for video or sound dissemination, enabling dynamic content (e.g., loading animation of text or image), or sharing content through social networks. Also belonging to this category, due to their technical nature, are those cookies that allow the most efficient possible management of the advertising spaces that, as an element of design or "layout" of the service offered to the user, the editor has included on a website, application, or platform based on criteria such as the content edited, without collecting information from users for different purposes, such as customizing that advertising content or other content. Technical cookies will be exempt from compliance with the obligations established in article 22.2 of the LSSI when they allow the service requested by the user to be provided, as is the case with cookies listed in the paragraphs above. However, if these cookies are also used for non-exempt purposes (for example, for behavioral advertising purposes), they will be subject to these obligations.

  2. Preference or Customization Cookies: These allow remembering information so that the user accesses the service with certain characteristics that can differentiate their experience from that of other users, such as language, the number of results to show when the user performs a search, the appearance or content of the service depending on the type of browser through which the user accesses the service, or the region from which the user accesses the service, etc. If the user chooses these characteristics themselves (for example, by selecting the language of a website by clicking on the icon of the flag of the corresponding country), cookies will be exempt from the obligations of article 22.2 of the LSSI, as they are considered a service expressly requested by the user, as long as the cookies exclusively obey the selected purpose.

  3. Analysis or Measurement Cookies: These allow those responsible for them to monitor and analyze the behavior of users of the websites to which they are linked, including the quantification of the impacts of advertisements. The information collected through this type of cookie is used to measure the activity of websites, applications, or platforms in order to make improvements based on the analysis of usage data by users of the service. Regarding the processing of data collected through analysis cookies, the GT29 stated that, although they are not exempt from the obligation to obtain informed consent for their use, it is unlikely that they represent a risk to the privacy of users as long as they are first-party cookies, treat aggregated data for strictly statistical purposes, provide information about their uses, and include the possibility for users to express their refusal to use them.

  4. Behavioral Advertising Cookies: These store information on user behavior obtained through the continued observation of their browsing habits, allowing the development of a specific profile to display advertising based on it. 3.3.- According to the period of time they remain active: They are those designed to collect and store data while the user accesses a website. They are usually used to store information that is only of interest to keep for the provision of the service requested by the user on a single occasion (for example, a list of purchased products) and disappear when the session ends.

  5. Session Cookies: These are those in which the data continues to be stored on the terminal and can be accessed and processed for a period defined by the cookie's controller, ranging from a few minutes to several years. In any case, persistent cookies will be used for the minimum time necessary for their temporary duration, based on the purpose of their use. There are other technologies similar to cookies, called web beacons. These are tiny graphics, also called tracking pixels, that are deposited or inserted into the user's browser content for purposes similar to third-party cookies, with which they sometimes function in combination.

  6. COOKIE POLICY REVIEW: ‍ The CONTROLLER may modify this Cookie Policy due to regulatory requirements or following instructions issued by the Spanish Data Protection Agency. If there are substantial changes to this policy, the CONTROLLER may reset the values of our cookies and request consent again for their use. The list of cookies used is updated and reviewed periodically, and although it may be temporarily outdated during updates, the purpose and functionality of the cookies will not differ from those already mentioned. This policy was reviewed in September 2023. If you need further clarification about how we use cookies, you can send us an email to the address provided in the Privacy Policy. We recommend the Interested Party to periodically review our Cookie Policy, as the one in effect at the time of using the CONTROLLER's Sites will apply.
